 Ca y est, ma commande est arrivée cette semaine. Avec un hakama rose et des juban pour moi, il y avait un hakama rayé pour mon homme. Il s'agit d'un umanori (馬乗り) hakama, c'est à dire qu'on peu monter à cheval avec. Les "jambes" du hakama remontent bien plus haut que pour un andon hakama.
Here it is, my order arrived this week. With a pink hakama and juban for me and an striped hakama for men.  It's an umamori(馬乗り)  hakama. Meaning you can ride horse with it. Leg are higher than andon hakama one.

Enfin ! 

Enfin j'ai pu voir mon mari en kimono. Dans un très beau kimono en soie noir de mariage, avec le haori qui va avec. 

Le kimono fait 144 cm d'envergure, c'est un peu court mais cela reste correcte pour lui. Par contre vous ne verrais pas de photo en pieds car il est très court. Mais ce n'est pas bien grave car mon plan est de lui faire porter un hakama avec. Ce sera la classe ! 

Finally ! 

Finally, I was able to saw my husband in kimono. In a very nice kimono in black silk, with the hari which go with. 

This kimono is 144 cm wingspan, which is a bit short but ok for him. But you will not see an in foot photo because the size is really short. But it doesn't really matter because I want to find a hakama for him to wear with. This will be awesome ! 

It's a boy !

Nous y voila. Notre petit bonhomme est arrivé le 16 mars dernier et depuis c'est un peu la course, je profite d'une de ses siestes pour venir vous montrer fièrement le kimono de baptême, appelé ubugi, que je lui avais trouvé.
Here we are. Our little one just arrived the last 16th march and now we are running all the time without anytime for us. So I take the opportunity of a nap to show you proudly the baptism kimono, called ubugi, I found for him. 

Kitsuke like a boy !

La dernière fois j'avais essayé le obi au dessus du ventre cette fois je tente en dessous, comme le porte les hommes. J'ai donc emprunté le obi de mon homme pour tester ma théorie.
Evidemment, cette façon de faire est bien plus rapide. Pas besoin de faire attention au col et seul un koshihimo est nécessaire . Par contre la silhouette ainsi obtenu n'est pas des plus élégante, je me rapproche plus, ici, d'un bibendum que d'une femme, même enceinte.
Last time I tried to wear the obi above the belly, this time I tried bellow, like men wore it. So I stole my husband obi to put it on. 
Of course it's much more quick to do this way. No need to take care of your collar and only one koshimo is needed. In the other side the shape you get is not very elegant, here, I'm looking more like a whale than a women even pregnant.

Start to be hot !

Il commence à faire chaud ici, c'est l'heure de sortir les yukata ! Il y avait de bonne promos sur shiney, j'en ai profité pour prendre aussi un yukata pour homme, histoire de convertir le mien.
It begin to be very hot here, it's time to take out Yukata ! There were good discount on shiney, so I took the opportunity to buy also a yukata for my man, just to convert him a little.
