Premiere vrai tenue / First true outfit

I just received,(finally, thank you french snow in march)  the komon kimono and the nagoya obi i ordered. It's the first time I can wear a coordinated outfit so I'm really happy.

The kimono is so a komon in chemical fiber with zebra red and blue. When I saw it I flash. I don't know why but I really love this pattern. It is maybe as little short but still wearable.
To go whith I order a blue nagoya obi with some little orange ( favorite color) waves motif so it make a contrast with zebra. But I was really surprise to received a obi in kit. The belt separate from the otaiko musubi. I was a bit scared cause I never saw something about how to wear this thing. It took me some time to have clue about he way of tying this obi. Even if it simple, I prefer have a guide. And finaly it's really convenient even if it's a kind of cheating ;p

The belt tied alone.
The back of the knot which mimic tesaki.

I also ordered a collar or haneri, just to have other color than white. It is red with multicolored balloons. I don't wan't to stitch it to my juban for now so I just adjust it with safety pin.

I'm quite happy of the result.

So, here is my first outfit trully thought and construct, I'm super proud of it. I'm just weating now for zori, there will be there soon ! : )
Here some photos !

Yes, to lazy to put my tabi ;p

So, what do you think abour it ? For my part, I love it. The color are not really appropriate for spring, and fit more with autumn. But, ok, it's a beginning, other color will come, (but always a touch of orange :D)

Thank to Aichi for this tutorial about obi age : ici. I Hope it's better now ...

    I really like it ♥

And yes, the Obiage looks perfect *haha*
I never thought about using pins for the haneri, what a great idea =D

I love the temari pattern on it, so cute (^_^)/~

I think you just bought a Tsuke-Obi, I also have one. You save a lot of time with pre-tied obi. Congrats to your first whole outfit.

If you don't pin the han eri, you sew it each time ?
Tsuke obi, ok ? Yes you save a lot of time. But It's not a good way to learn how to tie a obi ;p

I agree, but when you are in a hurry, it´s very useful =)
They are called Easy Obi, Tsukuri Obi or just Tsuke Obi.
