Dimanche dernier, je participais à ma deuxième leçon de cha no yu (cérémonie du thé). Lors de la dernière sensei m'avais conseil de venir en jupe ou en kimono pour minimisé les douleurs dans les jambes dû au seza. Ce n'ai pas tomber dans l'oreille d'une sourde. J'ai donc étrangement opté pour la solution kimono.
Last sunday, I took my second cha no yu lesson. During the last one, sensei advised me to come in skirt or in kimono, to minimize the pain in the leg. I didn't forgot that ! I strangely choose the kimono solution !
Devants conduire et étant débutante, j'ai decidé de mettre ce komon dans tissus synthetique. Aucun risque en cas de tache de matcha ou de salissure dans ma voiture. ( Qui est une vrai épave malheureusement)
I had to drive, and i'm a total newbie, so i decided to wear a komon in synthetic fabric. No fear to stain my kimono with matcha or whith my horrible car.
Pour ma première fois au volant en kimono pas de otaiko encombrant, j'ai opté pour un hanaba obi nouer en kai no kuchi.
Cette tenu n'ai pas des plus approprié pour une cérémonie du thé, mais la il s'agissait d'un cours, rien d'officiel. La professeur ainsi qu'une autre élevé, elle diplômée de kitsuke, était aussi en komon et n'ont pas eu l'air choqué de me voire ainsi habillé. Au contraire elles étais assez étonné que je sache mettre un kimono.
First time driving in kimono, I prefered not to wear a otaiko. So I took an hanaba obi and tie it in kai no kuchi.
This outfit is not really formal enough for tea ceremony. But it's only a course and the 3 other Japaneses students weren't choked. Even the one who is kitsuke teacher !
She was actually a bit impressed that a non Japanese can wear kimono.
Pour le pas attirer trop l'attention, j'ai camouflé le tout sous un gilet manche chauve-souris achété chez kiabi. et une écharpe.
I didn't want to drawn attention on myself, so I hide under a black waistcoat with bat wings, and a big scarf.
La leçon c'est super bien passé. Mes pauvres genoux sont constellés de bleus mais j'ai appris plein de choses et je me suis apparemment bien débrouillé. Les autres élèves n'en revenait pas qu'il s'agissait de mon deuxième cours. Ou alors est ce la politesse japonaise ...
En tout cas vivement janvier pour la suite !
The course was very cool. My knees are know full of blues but I learn a lot of thing and apparently I well done the tea. The other student was apparently impressed that it was only my second lesson.
I'm impatient to be in January for the next one !
