Mon premier Juban / My first Juban

Voila bien 2 ans  que j'ai acheté mon premier juban sans vraiment savoir ce que j'achetais.
Je dis juban mais il serait plus correct de dire nagajuban (長襦袢). Il s'agit d'un vêtement qui se porte sous le kimono, et donne sa forme si caractéristique au col.
Le mien à un col blanc et des motifs d’éventails multicolores sur fond rose. Ce n'est pas très sérieux.

Il y a encore du travail pour le mettre correctement.

En général les juban possèdent une boucle dans le creux du dos, qui permet de faire passer un koshihimo et de maintenir le vêtement. Le mien bien-sur n'en a pas. C'est une vrai galère pour faire tenir  le col comme il faut, c'est a dire à la largeur d'un poing de la nuque.

Vous voyez, aucune boucle dans le dos ! 

Le col ne doit pas être collé à la nuque. La nuque c'est sexy !  

En y pensant ce nagajuban est totalement immettable, la couleur rose est trop présent et cela jure atrocement au niveau des manches, surtout avec mon kuro tomesode(mon seul kimono) qui est très sobre et classe, tout le contraire de ce dessous. Il va falloir que j’investisse dans un juban blanc avec la possibilité de changer le col, pour pouvoir être convenable. Mais pour le moment je n'ai pas le choix, pour m’entraîner c'est bien suffisant.

I say juban but the correct word is Nagajuban(長襦袢)

It's a cloth wearing under the kimono, it gave this so particular shape to the collar
Mine got a white collar at least and have multicolor fan motifs on a pink background. Not really serious. 

Lot of training before putting it correctly.

Generaly, juban have a loop in the back, that allow you to keep the cloth in the right position with a koshihimo. Mine didn't have this loop. It a big mess to keep the collar on the good place, meaning, a fist large away from the neck. 

You see no loop ! 

The collar have to be away from the neck.

In a certain way, this juban is totally unwearable, with is pink flashy color. You see the fabric at the sleeves level and it horrible. Especially with my kuro tomesode which is very classy, the opposite of this juban ! 

I will need to put some money in a with juban to be able one day to do my kitsuke properly. But for training I thing it's good enougth.
