DIY Kairyō-makura

Ce week-end ce fut atelier bricolage. Je me suis mise en tête de fabriquer un kairyou-Makura (改良枕), un obi makura tunné. Je me suis largement inspiré de ce blog ( click ).
Et pour ce faire j'ai utilisé :
- Des ciseaux, un cuter, un feutre, un opinel (ca coupe bien!)
- Un bloque de polystyrène de 20cm de diamètre et du carton plume format A4.
- Du tissus, du ruban et un nécessaire de couture.
- De la colle

This week end was crafting time. I wanted to do a Kairyou-Makura (改良枕), an upgraded obi makura. I take the idea from this blog  ( click ).
So I used : 
- Scissor, a cuter, a pen and an Opinel (very sharp)
- A 20 cm diameter polystyrene block  and an A4 foamboard
- Fabric, ribbon, and sewing kit
- Glue

J'ai commencer par dessiné sur toshop un patron de l'objet. Puis je l'ai imprimé sans marge.
I start by drawing a pattern on toshop. Then I print it without margin.

Je l'ai découpé et reporté sur mon carton plume.
I cut the pattern and draw it on the board.

Puis j'ai découpé, au cuter, le carton, sans me trancher les doigts!
Then I cut the board with a cuter, without cutting my finger ! 

J'ai ensuite tracé le contour de mon obi makura sur le block de polystyrène avant de tailler dans le vif.
Avec les chutes j'ai aussi découpé un petit coussin pour le bas du bidule.
After that I draw my obi makura outline on a polystirene block and carve it. With the scraps I carve an other little pillow for the bottom of this stuff.

J'ai collé le tout à la colle chaude, en me brûlant au passage bien sur.
I glue everything with hot glue, burning my finger by the way.

Puis j'ai recouvert le tout d'un tissus de couleur neutre (;p). Comme je ne suis pas douée et en plus feignante, j'ai tout collé à la colle chaude. Bien à l'arrache.
I finally cover everything with a neutral color fabric (;p ). Because I'm not very talented and a lazy ass, I just glue everything randomly. 

Après avoir ajouté les rubans, voila ce que ça donne. C'est bien moche ! Mais ce n'est pas très grave puisqu'il sera caché.
Il ne reste plus qu'a essayer.
After adding ribbon, it's done. It's ugly as hell ! But I don't care it will be hide normally.

Pas mal pour une première et sur un mannequin. Je déteste habiller ce mannequin. Il bouge dans tout les sens, glisse et ne m'aide pas !
Not so bad for a first try and on a manequin. I hate dress this mannequin. It move all the time, slip and doesn't help me ! 

Du coup j'ai un gros soucis de raccord. Il va falloir que je m’entraîne.
Thus I have a big connection problem. I need to practice !
