Contamination

Few time ago a friend get the idea (not alone maybe) to go at the japan expo this summer dressed up in kimono. With my help she order a kimono (a tsukesage in chimical fiber)  and an obi ( a tsuke obi more easy to put) to start. Today was kitsuke lesson and first try of a kimono.

And here is the result. The color of the obi go nicely with those of the kimono and the accessory remind the leave of hydrangea. I find this outfit very elegant.

I particularly like motifs of the kimono, so simple and fine. But, I'm not sure of what it represent  Is it flower or snow ? I hope it's flower otherwise it would be too offset from the obi motif.

Now she will need to buy all the basic komono and zoris.
By the way, do you know a good address where to buy an eri sugata ?

Enfin en bonus une "princesse" Disney  : Alice. In bonus a Disney "Princess" : Alice.
