Conventions

En avril c'est la saison des conventions mangas qui offres aussi parfois un peu de culture japonaise. Je suis donc allé le weekend dernier au Mang'Azur se tenant a Toulon  et aujourd’hui au Cartoonist se tenant a Nice.

Tout d’abord le Mang'Azur. J'ai commencé ma journée avec un concert étonnant de shamisen combiné à un groupe normal de rock, batterie, guitare, basse et clavier. Le compositeur Keisho Ono est impressionnant et ce qu'il joue est vraiment sympa et entraînant. Une vrai jolie découverte pour moi.

Puis j'ai pu assister à une mini initiation à la cérémonie du thé. Je suis plus mitigé sur cette animation qui semblait un peu faite à l'arrache. Nous n'avons vu que l’extrême base, et la démonstration de la prof avait l'air vraiment brouillon.  A sa décharge le matériel était rudimentaire et les élèves pas forcement connaisseur. Au moins le thé était bon et les poteries magnifique :)

A mon grand malheur, lors de cette convention, il n'y avait rien de vraiment authentique et les seules choses un temps soit peu culturelle était hors de prix. (notamment un bol orné de fleurs de prunier, 65€  :'-( ).
Ce qui m'a révolté était les pales copies de kimono en polyester vendu à des prix scandaleux et portés par trop de monde. Comment ces festivals peuvent laisser des vendeurs sans scrupule arnaquer leur invités ?

Le prix de cette monstruosité : 45€ !!! Au secour ! 

Je n'ai croisé qu'une personne en vrai kimono, elle avait un kistuke magnifique et un stand de nail art. Ce n'est pas ma tasse de thé mais si ça vous intéresse c'est ici : http://www.sanagi-atelier.com

Et finalement voici la tenu que je portais, mon kimono rayé, avec des collant bleu et mes chaussures rouges. Un peu façon hime style ! A la fin de la journée j'avais quand même bien mal au dos et aux pieds. 

Pour le Cartoonist, j'y suis vraiment passée en coup de vent, il y avait pas mal de grand nom de la japAnimation, mais sinon assez peu d’intérêt pour moi, mise à par un stand de créateur vendant des tenus faites à base de kimono, juste sublime ! www.aoiclothing.com
J'ai donc craquer.

Une ceinture faite a partir d'un obi que je vais pouvoir porter  quand je veux .

Prochaine convention prévu pour fin juin, ce sera un festival bien plus axé culture traditionnelle. J'ai hâte d'y être ! 

In April is time for mangas convention which offer to few animation about japanese traditional culture.
So I went last weekend and today at the "Mang'Azur" in Toulon  and the "Cartoonist" in Nice.

First, the Mang'Azur. I began the day with a surprising concert of shamisen mixed with other classical rock instrument, drum, guitars and keyboard. The compositor Keisho Ono is really talented and what he play is really nice to listen. A so nice decovery for me !

Then I participated to a little initiation to tea ceremony. I was not so convince by this animation which look like kind of random. The teacher shown us the really base of it and even the presentation of the teacher was a mess. Ok the material was not the good one and the students was not expert. A least the matcha was good and bowls were beautiful. :)

Unlcukyly, no one sold traditinal stuff, and the only one was to expensive ! :'-(
And something chocked me strongly, those horrible fake kimono in polyester sold at a scandalous price, and wore by to meany people  How can those conventions let this seller rip off there host ?

The price of this monster : 45€ !!! COME ON !

And finally here is my outfit, I wore my zebra kimono with blue leggings and red shoes. A little like Hime style! At the end of the day my back and my feet were in pain.

For the cartoonist I didn't stay to long. There were lot of famous name of the japanimation, but otherwith not a big interest for me. Accept the shop of créateur solding cloth make out of true kimono. Beautifful.
So I cracked.

The next convention I went to go is in June, it will be more oriented for traditional stuff. I'm impatient to be there !
